Continual expansion is deeply embedded in the Enterprise philosophy. In 1993, Enterprise opened its first office outside the United States. Today, Enterprise has many thriving locations in Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, N. Ireland, Ireland and Germany.

Canada (Canada Francais)
Enterprise has grown to become an integral, proud and thriving member of the local Canadian communities in which we serve. This is perhaps best evidenced by the fact that of the more than 4,000 employees now working for Enterprise in Canada, less than 2% are from the United States. Today, Enterprise has grown to become the second largest car rental company in all Canada. Currently, there are eight business groups and more than 450 offices located throughout the Canadian provinces. All of the Canadian groups are operating profitably and are starting to set company records in many areas.

Germany
Enterprise opened its first German office in Mönchengladbach in 1997 and now has over 140 locations. Enterprise's mission is to motivate its employees to provide exceptional customer service by supporting their development, providing opportunities for personal growth and significantly compensating them for their hard work, success and achievement. Organizationally, Enterprise is decentralized to allow decision-making and ownership at a regional level. It's like starting your own business without having to a take big risk or incur the start-up costs.

Ireland
Ireland's social atmosphere makes it a perfect fit for Enterprise. According to managers, Ireland fits Enterprise to a tee, because it's one of the few places where you can strike up a conversation with someone outside of business hours and not only make a friend, but a business partner, customer or employee. At Enterprise, employees are proud of being able to run a successful business and get well compensated for their efforts. It's like starting your own business without having to a take big risk or incur the start-up costs. Enterprise's success in Ireland has been truly remarkable. Enterprise currently has over 25 offices in Ireland.

United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland)
The first Enterprise office in the U.K. opened in Reading, England, in September, 1994. Initially, no one knew the Enterprise name and the replacement market was different than in America. It took time and perseverance to convince the insurers and body shops of Enterprise's unique ability to serve them. Soon though, thanks to Enterprise's proven personal sales call approach, prospects were becoming very receptive to the Enterprise way of doing business. Today, Enterprise is widely accepted in the United Kingdom by repairers, insurers, customers and recruits. Enterprise has also built up strong relationships with local universities allowing for greatly enhanced recruitment efforts. To date, Enterprise has ten business groups and over 300 offices in England, Scotland, N. Ireland and Wales.
