Diverse Award
Enterprise Rent-A-Car was named #1 in diversity recruiting, beating out Target, IBM, Ford and Microsoft and other national firms, according to Cox, Matthews and Associates, Inc., publisher of Diverse: Issues in Higher Education Magazine. The award was based on input from higher education professionals, as well as career services officers, who identified firms that do an exceptional job recruiting and retaining diverse graduates.

ESGR Award
Enterprise Rent-A-Car was one of only 15 employers, from over 1,500 nominations, selected to receive the prestigious “Secretary of Defense Employer Support of Freedom Award.” The company pays the salary differential for employees on active duty, so employees can continue to receive full pay for the duration of their service. Enterprise has approximately 500 employees currently serving in the National Guard and Reserve.

“Enterprise Rent-A-Car is one of the best employers in Canada, excelling in leadership direction, recognition and career development”, according to the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business Magazine. The only rental car company recognized on the 2006 Best Employers list, Enterprise ranked 11th among large companies and 35th overall based on input from over 100,000 employees at 137 organizations.

The Top 100 Employers 2012
For the 12th year in a row, Diversity Employers Magazine (formerly The Black Collegian) named Enterprise Top College Recruiter. The company also received a special “Wind Beneath Our Wings”award for its commitment to diversity recruiting as well as support of The Black Collegian during its evacuation and relocation from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
