As part of our Management Training Program, you’ll learn every day. You’ll build skills in every area of business from managing Profit and Loss statements to working with customers. You’ll learn how to network, manage time and make your Enterprise branch even more successful. Here’s just a glimpse at what’s ahead.
“How can I help you?”
Helping our customers – it’s the cornerstone of Enterprise. As a Management Trainee, you’ll learn how to communicate with and influence all types of customers, vendors and co-workers. Out of everything you learn, this is the one skill you’ll use every minute of every hour of every day you’re at Enterprise. Our training covers everything from proper sales techniques to problem solving. Once you’ve completed the program, you’ll be able to handle any situation. You’ll be ready to GO.
“Let’s spread the word.”
Getting the word out about Enterprise is a big part of what you’ll do. We’ll show you how to build a marketing strategy that helps you reach out to local businesses and your community. This will help you build solid business-to-business sales skills as well as relationships with everyone from local businesspeople, to your neighbors across the street.
“Keeping us in the green.”
This is the “running a business” part of the Management Training Program. After all, profits are what make a business successful. We’ll start with basic accounting and finance principles, progress to more advanced topics and eventually put you in charge of the profit and loss statement for your branch. And once you reach an Assistant Branch Manager position, part of your compensation comes from the profits of your branch. The better you perform, the better Enterprise performs, and the more you earn.
“Everything has its place.”
Things can get pretty hectic at an Enterprise branch. It’s always exciting and there are customers, cars and employees buzzing around all day. While managing your team, you’ll also be responsible for a fleet of as many as 200 vehicles. You’ll learn everything from creative time-management techniques to innovative organizational tools. It will all help you keep your branch running smoothly – and prepare you for wherever your career takes you.
